Tech Mex 2013 was organised by The Mexican Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain with support from UK Trade & Investment as well as the Mexican Embassy in the UK. We had an interesting and positive story to tell about Mexico and one of the country’s growth sectors, a well-kept secret we were delighted to reveal.
In addition, we made the business case for the burgeoning bilateral trade between Mexico and the UK with a focus on the booming Digital / Tech sector. Highlighting specific opportunities, the developing culture of entrepreneurialism and innovation and the start-up ecosystem in Mexico, Tech Mex 2013 also offered a guide to Digital / Tech Opportunities.
The conference also offered a unique opportunity for Venture Capital, Private Equity and other investors seeking opportunities in the Digital / Tech sector in Mexico to interact with entrepreneurs behind some of the country’s most exciting start-ups. Companies interested in expanding to Mexico and/or working with Mexican Digital / Tech companies were also welcome as were technology-dependent companies interested in IT Outsourcing to Mexico.
